Thanks to these readers an RFID badge can be read directly on a PC.
The following utilities are already available and can be downloaded from our Partners Area:
• QuickConf: the complete and easy to use solution to visually configure readers and program cards. Available in two versions: one for the LEGIC reader and one version specific for ISO14443 A/B & ISO15693 reader.
• COM2Kbd: Redirect the reader output in keyboard buffer to easily integrate card reading in your program or in existing softwares. This utility is available for the all 3 versions of readers.
• USB driver: to redirect the reader output in a serial port.RFID USB LEGIC Advant
Desktop Read/Write interface for LEGIC® security transpondersThe AXESS TMC 904 advant/USB read-write module is a USB peripheral which communicates with the LEGIC advant ISO 15693 transponders.
All configuration and data management operations typical of the top-security style LEGIC® systems are possible with this versatile device. Simultaneous management of multiple cards within the transponder range is also supported.
Beside implementing the new LEGIC ® advant transponders, the new LEGIC® advant chipset also supports identification of ISO 14443A tags and it can also manage the operation of traditional LEGIC ® prime tokens.
USB support is provided through a driver which implements serial COM port emulation. Applications developed for interfacing the advant chipset via RS232 will work with this USB device, too.
Full deployment of all LEGIC® advant security system is possible only for LEGIC® partners with the proper documentation license level. Limited, pre-configured use of the device, can be supported by AXESS TMC to all other users.
