AXIS Communications and Zucchetti launch a common Access Control solution at SICUREZZA
Axis Communications will present the integration between AXIS A1001 network door controller and XAtlas access control system for managing data generated by security systems
Axis Communications, world leader in network video, and Zucchetti, the first Italian Information Technology company, will present at Sicurezza, Rho-Fiera Milan from 12th to 14th November 2014, a common solution for managing data generated by security systems, able to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises but also the ones of larger companies.
The collaboration between the two companies will materialise at the Axis Communications stand (Pavilion 3, B22-C24) with the market launch of the integration between AXIS A1001, open platform door controller, and XAtlas access control solution, developed by Zucchetti Axess, part of Zucchetti group, specialized in security and automation.
The complete, innovative and extremely flexible solution bringing the potential of the two components to the highest level is composed of:
– Axis A1001, door controller based on a non-proprietary platform, thus open to be integrated with applications provided by the partners. It’s an IP device, powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), able to interface standard identification devices of other manufacturers such as readers, door locks and door position sensors.
– XAtlas, the multi-platform security management system designed by Zucchetti Axess, allows integrating access control, workplace security, time and attendance data collection, intrusion detection and fire fighting, video surveillance, vehicle transit management, parking management and company canteens.
Thanks to the collaboration at Sicurezza 2014, both companies intend to open new sales channels for their in-house solutions:
