Imagine an access control terminal that also allows:
- time & attendance tracking,
- field device management (Field Manager),
- access to configurable functions of the XAtlas system by authorized users,
- facial recognition in multiple modes (verification, identification, automatic or on-demand recognition).
It is not imagination, it is the new AxessTMC product: XPoint Face, the interactive Field Processor with an interactive touch-screen display that combines facial recognition with all the features of Field Manager (FM) and XPOINT 2.
How does it work?
XPoint Face operates as a controller for a part of the system, managing multiple FD and FE devices and sending data to the central server in real-time or whenever possible. Since it contains a peripheral copy of the database, it is able to continue managing its section of the field even if the server is unreachable (Server Independent).
In addition, it can be used by administrator users to access the XAtlas system and perform configurations, checks, and other functions (all fully configurable) via its touch-screen display.
XPoint Face can function as a true terminal for automatic identification applications with facial recognition, and it is possible to integrate an internal or external swipe RF reader.
Identification modes
- Identification (1:N): the face is used like a badge to identify oneself (automatically or after pressing a button);
- Verification (1:1): after clocking in with the badge, identity is confirmed through facial recognition.
