Software Libraries
One can obtain best performance results from our versatile terminals by controlling them directly from one’s own programs. For that purpose, one will use the Zucchetti Axess communication libraries. They allow maximum control:
• updated regularly. to ensure support for new operating environments and hardware evolution
• can be downloaded from our web site
• problems can be resolved by reproducing installation issues under test conditions.
The “TMC” libraries (.NET and Static DLLs, and OCXs) provide the technical information and instruments required to connect to TRAX and Net92 compatible terminals, via IP or rs485 networks. They support all new and older terminals; like TRAX, PROX, EnTRAX, NeoMAX, ULTRAX and SuperTRAX.
The libraries include updated versions of the communication libraries, simple demonstration programmes and documentation.
Demonstration programs source codes are also included.
Requirements
• A Personal Computer with Windows OS version. From Win’98 up to 64bit versions of Windows7 and Windows Server. Including, Windows CE versions from r.4.2.
• Microsoft Visual Studio tools, from VB6 to Visual Studio 2008 C# and VB.NET
Non-Microsoft environments support
Linux and Java developers are supported with a different tool. The Linux/Java Connector, written in Java is a message level form of middleware that can be used on both Linux and Windows systems, from any programming environment that supports stdin+stdout communication with a child process.
TraxIpLink.DLL Library
• Used to communicate over IP networks with TRAX compatible terminals from a PC with Windows 95/98, 2K, XP, Vista or Windows 7, 32 and 64bit versions, including Windows Server.
• TraxIpLink supports indexing of terminals with Static IP or DHCP, via gateways with plain configurations or in mixed private/public Internet connections with NAT.
• Designed for online – real-time communication. They provide an event driven interface. Application programs must implement a state-machine with an array of Status variables. For maximum performance, the application should spawn a thread on each message received.
• Library Methods support both messages and files exchange.
PROXC.DLL Library
• Used to communicate with TRAX compatible terminals from a PC with O.S. from Windows 95/98, 2K, XP to Vista and Windows 7, 32 and 64bit versions, including Windows Server.
• The functions of the library offers a high level interface for communication sessions with TRAX compatible terminals and Entrax as well. One can use a single function to receive or send files to/from terminals whatever communication mode one chooses (NET92/RS485, RS232, Dial-Up, Ethernet TCP/IP, with Static or Dynamic IP addresses).
• The documentation supplied describes the functions, explains the error codes, and provides sample programs with their source codes (TMCDllDemo -see Utilities-).
Etherctrl.ocx
• Etherctrl.ocx/EtherCtlTest.exe used for developing programs for on-line (real time) or off-line applications. Demo program for evaluation and testing in VB6 and Delphi. Also used with some 4th generation programming tools.
• For terminals connected via Ethernet-TCP/IP networks. Requires EtherLite adapter or integrated TRAX compatible terminals, including UlTRAX and SuperTRAX.
NET92 Libraries
• Can be used from Windows 3.11, to Windows 7 32 and 64 bit versions, to communicate with Zucchetti Axess terminals using 981 PSLD/3 or 985 MicroLD line drivers.
• Allow send/receive messages to/from a RS485 network of terminals using NET92 protocol. The polling cycle must be implemented by the users (in NET92C.Dll) or it is performed by the control (in Pollengine.ocx).
