HotMAX MI and NeoMAX

Access Control Terminals

914 HotMAX MI and NeoMAX are basic access control terminals and they represent the ideal solution for hotel rooms, ship cabins, sleeping cars, offices, residential buildings, tourist villages, spas, clinics, hospitals, etc.

They are available in a number of different configurations and it can be connected to other control devices (light switches, courtesy lights, infrared sensors, gas sensors, etc.).

914 HotMAX and NeoMAX can function:

•  On-line in point-to-point or multidrop configuration with NET92 protocol
•  Off-line by using a list of valid card codes recorded internally:

COMMON CODE ONLY: unlimited number of valid cards. Can be used in conjunction with the BITMAP and PACKED mode. Not possible with proximity reader.

BITMAP MEMORIZATION MODE: max 3500 valid cards, numbered in sequence from ‘0000’ to ‘3500’. Not with proximity reader.

PACKED MEMORIZATION MODE: the maximum number of cards which can be memorized ranges from 223 to 89 according to the number of figures considered in the personal code, from 4 to 9.

COMPRESSED MEMORIZATION MODE: max 150 valid cards. Secure storage of card code makes it possible to use a credit card and it is the preferred mode with proximity readers, too.

HOTEL MODE: the terminals can be configured for use in hotels, controlling rooms and facilities. Guests are given a card loaded with a progressive and crypted number for their room: each new number invalidates the preceding one. Each card can have up to 6 facilities associated to it, access to which is then controlled by readers. When the readers are connected to a NET92 network, they receive the code of the last card authorised to enter through that gate, and will then only accept successive numbers.

Configurations:

914 HotMAX MI can be supplied with:
•  partial insertion (16-17 characters in Track 2); can be housed in a plastic wall box with BTicino “Living” series front plate.

914 NeoMAX can be connected to different readers:
• magnetic: a swipe reader with satin-finish aluminium casing; weather-proof; separate electronics;
• barcode: a swipe reader with satin-finish aluminium casing. Decodifies C39 and I2/5;
• proximity: 125 KHz or 15,56 MHz (see Tech. Specs).

4 sensors (2 in the swipe version):
•  auxiliary & port status - for a lock or a switch, for example
•  card inserted - magnetic insertion reader only
•  anti-tamper - magnetic insertion reader only

Door lock relay: programmable from 1 to 253 tenths of a second

IOX

Input/Output terminal

951 IOX is a NET92 terminal which allows you to collect signals from digital sensors and switch on/off electrically-controlled devices. It supports 16 input and 8 output lines with relay.

Each input has its own status indicator LED and counter. The counter counts down each time a positive charge is applied to the input.

The NET92 host can obtain the status of the counters at any time. When a counter reaches zero IOX generates a message for the host computer, the counters are then reloaded with a pre-set user-defined value and the countdown process begins again. It is also possible to monitor the status of the input lines from the host.

Each output line has a timer which allows you to close the relay for a set time (possible values: 0.1 – 25.5 seconds) every 0.1 seconds. You can also keep the relay permanently open or closed.

In a NET92 network it is possible to connect up to 254 IOX in a single plant, giving you up to 4080 inputs and 2040 outputs.

IOX can be mounted in any industrial casing equipped with an OMEGA guide.

FingerPROX+SU

A powerful terminal integrating 1:N Fingerprint Recognition.

Based on the versatile PROX+F platform, FingerPROX+ SU is a Time & Attendance and Access Control terminal. It integrates a fingerprint recognition module for the verification of user identity.

Main Features

• Flexible: possibility of possibility of creating several configurations using fingerprint templates verification in different types of transactions, offline, online, or semi-online.

• High security access control: biometric verification is in addition to standard access control validation criterias.

• Reliable Time & Attendance:

- all transactions take place in such a way as to protect individual privacy.

Functionalities

• The PROX+F based authorization list, together with the integrated fingerprint reader, ensure that only an authorized person can pass through.

• Beside identification, FingerPROX+SU can identify a user identity by fingerprint recognition (1:1 verification) after entering the personal code by card reading or manual typing.

• Possibility of specifying a list of user codes for whom fingerprint is not requested. For each of them, it is possible to specify card reading or manual entering.

• Possibility of specifying a random probability for fingerprint verification request. It can be useful to speed up operations on peek time, when groups of users want to clock-in/out, while maintaing the deterrent of true identity is needed.

• All the usual functions of PROX+F are available: time zone check, programmed access criteria, use of PINs, checking inputs and piloting relays, transactions recording, etc., allowing for an access control system with a high security level.

• All the templates are stored inside the fingerprint reader flash memory. It is possible to import and export the fingerprint templates, without repeating the enrollment process.

• The user’s template can be stored on a MIFARE® or LEGIC® card (special versions).

• Each fingerprint template size can vary, with about 300 bytes as average.

• Verification time: 1 sec for up to 1000 fingerprints 1:N.

• Supported applications: up to 4000 users in 1:1 verification modewith one fingerprint per user.

• It is possible to carry out the on-line verification using a templates database stored on a PC. In this case, the maximum number of users is only limited to the maximum value represented by the number of digits used for the user’s code.

• It is possible to delete the template associated with a single user’s code. The user code can vary from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 11 digits. If user codes longer than 4 digits are used, a USERCOD codes mapping file is used.

• Most of the managing functions, like enrolling new users, deleting old ones, can be performed from the FingerPROX+SU console.

Read only and Re-writable cards

• “Read only” versions: two models to read the codes of the following proximity cards:
- 125 KHz EM4102 compatible
- 125 KHz HID

• LEGIC® option: The new FingerPROX+ advant version integrates the new RFID/advant LEGIC® module by TMC. An enhanced FW allows to store and manage fingerprint templates on 13.56MHz proximity cards (prime MIM1024 or faster ISO 14443A ATC2048/512 or ISO 15693 ATC1024). Thanks to this option, an unlimited number of users per terminal can be managed.

• The FingerPROX LEGIC version supports the set of new commands to freely read and write on the LEGIC card segments. This version enables also the user to carry out automatic procedures for increasing or decreasing the stored values. These commands can work both on-line and off-line (script PROC).

• MIFARE® option: (availability to be confirmed) The special MIFARE® FingerPROX+SU versionuses a MIFARE® ISO 14443A reader/writer module. An enhanced FW allows to store the fingerprint templates in a proximity card (Mifare classic 1K).

Programmable Terminals for Production Control, Time & Att. Recording and Access Control

The 943 PROX+G and 942 PROX+F are at the top of our current range of terminals suitable for all Access Control, Production Control, Data Collection and Time & Attendance applications.
A tough steel casing, a large keypad, a very legible display, a generous number of I/O and communications ports make PROX+F/G the ideal terminal for the most demanding applications.

Main features

• Compact, versatile and very resistant, PROX+F/G is easy to usewhile offering a lot of built-in functions and a high degree of programmability . Users can activate programmes and procedures simply by pressing a key. Messages on the clear display and the beeper will guide them through the different stages of a procedure.

• PROX+F/G can control up to 31 PROX+F/EnTRAX/MAX/TRAX+ slaves. The slave EnTRAX or TRAX/2P’s store transactions in their local memory; the Master PROX+F/G is only used as a “gateway” for downloading data from the slave terminals.
• On-line or off-line operation. When in off-linemode data are memorised internally and can be downloaded at a later date. In on-linemode transactions are monitored in real time by a computer to which PROX+F/G sends all data that it collects (from either the keypad or card reader).

• Easy definition of custom data collection proceduresfor WIP (work in progress) control or other industrial requirements. For example it can be easily programmed to print transaction slips.

Configurations

PROX+F/G can be installed as a stand alone unit in point-to-point configuration on a serial link, via telephone or modem for remote installations, on a Current Loop line by means of a passive Current Loop converter, or in multipoint configuration on an RS485 line using NET92 protocol (up to 254 terminals).

• A handy extractable screw connectorblock simplifies both installation and maintenance.

• 4 optoinsulated digital inputs. They can be associated to a counter: a status change or overflow of the counter can activate a relay, can be recorded in a file, can prompt a message to the host computer, or launch a procedure. 

• 3 digital outputswith relay. They can be programmed for valid entry, valid exit, invalid access, access under threat; schedules by the minute and by the weekday; on the basis of events at the inputs and on commands. 

• Stylish column option for floor standing mounting. Table top mounting versions on request.

Programming at different levels

PROX+F/G is equipped with a file systemwhich manages the memory with commands like those of DOS (DIR, TYPE, DEL, etc.). The files are organised into “directories”. An extra 1 MB of memory for data files and procedures can be added using a RAM card. The RAM card is treated as an additional logical drive by the file system. 

Its multitasking operating system allows the terminal to execute a number of I/O tasks managing at the same time the user console, and enables it to memorize data from the COM ports and the INPUTs in background.

To programme and manage PROX+F/G using the support software supplied by Zucchetti Axess you need a PC with WINDOWS operating system. If you use another system, Zucchetti Axess can supply all the documentation necessary to create your own communication programmes.

The basic PROX+F/G softwareruns all the functions of the terminal at a high level ensuring maximum flexibility for the advanced developer and user. 
• The standard resident procedures for access control and time & attendance recording can work with various options: with or without memorisation of transactions; with PIN and PIN “under threat” management; antipassback control; common code up to 9 figures; 2 to 14 figures user codes; time zones; user groups; causal codes management; 2nd user guaranteed entry; and timed siren. It can display all the entries and exits recorded and, if uploaded by the host in special files, it can provide users with a breakdown of their hours and display personalised messages for either single users or groups. More functions can be defined and programmed. The users access rights tables like groups definition and time-zones can also be managed via the keypad.

Customised programs can be developed in the following ways:

• The configuration parameters can be set by means of the keyboard or via the communication links. They determine how the resident pre-programmed procedures of the terminal (attendance, access control, I/O task management, on-line or off-line functions) will be carried out. 

• Data collection procedures can be launched by specific function keys, input events, or a time event. The sequence of the steps in the transaction can be determined on the basis of the date, the time, or the status of the input/output lines. The transactions are defined by text files downloaded onto PROX+F/G via the RS232 or NET92 links, or by transferring the RAM Card. These files describe the operator prompts and validity checks for each transaction. They contain the necessary operations, the questions to the operator, and data validity checks. In some cases text procedures are not enough. Then it is possible to download programmes written in “C” and compile them on your PC by means of a “cross-compiler”, via the communication links. Zucchetti Axess supplies a library to give high level support to all the hardware and software resources of PROX+F/G. 

• Up to three custom applications can be installed on the terminal’s Flash ROM via any of the available communication channels. Zucchetti Axess supplies a library to give high level support to all hardware and software resources of PROX+F/G.

SuperMAX +

Single door Access Controller

Furthermore it supports two fingerprint readers connected to its RS485 port. Alternatively, the SuperMAX+ can be used to master up to 31 slave 914-MAX door openers, each one with its own reader and relay.

SuperMAX+ can work in online mode with a host computer connected on an Ethernet-TCP/IP network. Receiving and validating, in real-time, each access request, and operating relays and checking inputs status to properly manage gates. In addition, SuperMAX+ can work in offline mode, validating and managing the access rights according to data tables in local files which organize users by groups, and assign a number of time zones when access can be granted.

MAIN FEATURES

•  SuperMAX+ features a built-in backup battery that can supply power for up to 4 hours, depending on the kind of card reader connected, and the number of access transactions.

•  Ethernet/IP connection. Fixed IP address or DHCP.

•  Optional Modem. This allows to implement remote, autonomous control sites, where data updates or downloads are performed periodically by calls from the host computer or, (less frequently) by calls generated by the SuperMAX+.

•  SuperMAX+ is available either as DIN-rail wall mountable module in a plastic enclosure, suitable for embedding in electrical control panels, or as an electronics board with connectors along two edges and its backup battery mounted on top.

•  Built-in configurable rules. Alternative or additional control rules can be implemented by loading concise text files written in the TRAX specific scripting language (PROCs).

•  It can be also integrated within AXESS TMC XAtlas Access Control and Integrated Security Solutions.

EnTRAX

Entry Time Recording & Access Control System

  •  12 key numerical backlit keypad allows PIN checks in access control applications.

  • The on-board clock and the 16 KB memory allows the terminal to memorize tables for access control applications (valid cards or black lists), and allows it to record transactions (date, time, user code, direction and casual) and maintain an events history file.

  • The internal battery can power the terminal for several hours in the event of a mains blackout.

Operation

  • The transaction can require just a PIN, just a user card, or both.

  • Off-line autonomous operation : either there is no connection to a PC, or the PC is connected only periodically to download transaction records and update tables.

  • On-line functioning connected to a PC with the appropriate software installed: the terminal transmits the user card code to the host via the RS485 or RS232 port. It will go automatically into off-line mode if the host does not respond to messages within a user-defined time limit.

  • Moves back and forth between on-line and off-line modes while maintaining console functionality and background communications transparency.

  • Time zones control settable for each day of the week. Every user code can be associated to 8 different time zones. Each time zone is an interval which is associated with any mix of days of the week and with generic holidays. Up to 40 holidays can be defined in a separate file.

  • Can be configured for common code validation (to be valid a card must have a particular code in a particular position).

  • The PIN validation can be restricted to certain time zones. This makes it possible to increase security outside office hours and during week-ends and holidays.

  • Cards can be validated or invalidated from the keypad, by means of read operation, or from the host computer.

  • The terminal can be configured to switch itself off after X minutes of inactivity. Operations are resumed by pressing the “return” key. In this way its autonomy can be extended to several days.

  • 1-2 figure casual codes can be associated to each transaction.

  • In attendance recording applications the Entry or Exit status of the transaction is either determined by the direction of the swipe, or by the direction indicated on the display in relation to the current time zone. The status displayed can be inverted using a specific key.

Memory Management

The main memory is shared between the valid codes table and the transactions and events log buffer. Notes

By “planned format cards” we mean cards with a codified track which you are familiar with and where a certain number of figures (2-12) are used as a personal ID code for the card user.

By “free format cards” we mean cards which the user already possesses (cashpoint card, credit card, other ID cards, etc.) where the codified track is not known or is not useful. These cards can anyway be used for access/control attendance recording transactions while maintaining the security and privacy of each individual cede, which is memorized by the terminal in a compressed format obtained using a non-reversible algorithm.

Options

  • The optional IRDA port allows you to up and download data using a PocketPC with the appropriate software.

  • Second reader option can be requested where IRDA is not used. Optional external anti-tamper switch.

Integrating 1:1 and 1:N Fingerprint Recognition for all AIDC applications

FingerTRAX+G with RF reader

Based on the versatile TRAX+G platform, FingerTRAX/ST and /SU are PoE data collection terminals for AIDC (Automatic Identification & Data Collection) applications like Time & Attendance and Access Control integrating a fingerprint reader module beside more traditional card readers. The two versions have different biometric engines, FingerTRAX/ST for the verification only (1:1) of the used identity, while FingerTRAX/SU is capable of both PoE Identification (1:N) and verification modes, at the same time.

Overview

•   With both versions, it is possible to specify a list of user codes for whom fingerprint is not requested. For each of them, it is possible to specify card reading or manual entering.

•   FingerTRAX/ST has the possibility of specifying a random probability for fingerprint verification request. It can be useful to speed up operations on peek time, when group of users want to clock-in/out, and still the deterrent of true identity is needed.

•   All the usual functions of TRAX+G are available: time zone check, programmed access criteria, use of PINs, checking inputs and piloting relays, transactions recording, etc.,    allowing for an access control system with a high security level.

•   FingerTRAX/ST keeps templates stored in an archive present on the file system. Two templates are associated with each single user code. Remote shell commands allow custom applications running on a PC to download the fingerprint templates archive, and then reload on other units, without repeating the enrolment process of all users on different TRAXs.

•  The user’s template can be stored on a MIFARE® or LEGIC® card. (TRAX+G/ST only at the moment).

•  Each fingerprint template size can vary , with about 300 bytes as average.

•  FingerTRAX/ST verification time: 1-2 sec. FingerTRAX/SU Identification time is configurable.

•  FingerTRAX/ST supported applications: up to 1200 users in 1:1 verification mode with one fingerprint per user. FingerTRAX/SU supported applications: up to 4500 users in verification mode.

•  FingerTRAX/ST has the possibility of a type of on-line verification using templates from a database stored on a PC. In this case, the maximum number of users is only limited to the maximum value represented by the number of digits used for the user’s code. The user fingerprint verification is always performed moving the template to be verified into the fingerprint reader engine of TRAX.

•  The user code length is a parameter and can vary from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 11 digits.

•  Most of the managing functions, like enrolling new users, deleting old ones, are performed from the FingerTRAX+G console, within the fingerprint manager operator menu.

Card Readers

•  “Read only” versions: with Barcode, Magnetic stripe and two proximity models to read the codes of the following proximity cards:

    - 125 KHz EM4102 compatible,
    - 125 KHz HID

•  Read & Write 13.56MHz ISO1443+ISO15693 proximity. These are also called the MIFARE® FingerTRAX+G/ST versions. These versions can work like read-only versions getting the user code to be verified from any ISO standard proximity tag, and also use MIFARE® ISO 14443A cards to store the fingerprint template of a user onto the card itself (Mifare classic 1K).

•  LEGIC® option: The FingerTRAX+G Legic advant version integrates the new RFID/advant LEGIC® module by TMC. An enhanced FW allows to store and manage fingerprint templates on 13.56MHz proximity cards (prime MIM1024 or faster ISO 14443A ATC2048/512 or ISO 15693 ATC1024). Thanks to this option, an unlimited number of users per terminal can be managed.

• You can define a vast variety of interactive, events-driven data collection transactions : the correctness of data can be checked by means of prompts to the user and data validation tables. The user can make choices from an interactive menu, the terminal will make a print-out or activate a relay on the basis of the data introduced. You can include the value of the counter on the optoinsulated input line.

• Each transaction can be controlled by a procedure previously loaded onto the terminal and activated using the function keys. You can move from one procedure to another on the basis of the data collected from the keypad, or from the barcode, magnetic or proximity card readers. The procedures can also be activated at a set time on a set day of the week. 

• The management of data, procedures, and configuration parameters, either from a remote computer or via the keypad, is extremely flexible thanks to the memory based on a file system and its powerful set of shell commands , accessible via RS485/NET92, serial, Ethernet or wireless connections. 

• Customers specific applications can also be written in “C” and downloaded into Flash Memory, extending or replacing the standard functions.

ULTRAX is a optimized Windows CE 5.0 platform, integrated with AXESS TMC specific drivers and utilities. It features a 312MHz PXA270 ARM CPU, 64MB Flash + 64MB SDRam, internal connections for SD/MMC and USB memories up to gigabytes, and a variety of other devices.

The bright ULTRAX display is a wide TFT 7” 16:10 touchscreen, housed in a splash-proof case designed for easy vertical mounting with protected connections only. It includes all RFID R&W technologies, or barcode and magnetic card readers.

RFID TAGS

This system for identifying the operator, the workplace or the activity being performed works by remotely reading the code of a simple and economic RFID TAG.
Depending on the field of application, the shape, size and substance of the Tags (or transponders) can differ (badge, label, plastic disk etc.).

FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Ergonomic design and reduced size
XPOCKET is light and ergonomic, fitting comfortably in the palm of one hand. Attached to a cord, it can even be worn around the neck.

Shock resistant
XPOCKET may be small, but it is extremely robust since the materials used enable it to resist knocks and survive being dropped.
This device is ready for use in dirty, contaminated and generally “hostile” environments (such as construction sites). In this regard, the use of RFID technology is also highly advantageous. The Tags are in fact made for use under difficult and challenging conditions (e.g. thermic, chemical and mechanical shocks). In short, XPOCKET is a survivor.

All functions on three keys
The new XPOCKET reader is so simple to use that even non-experts learn easily. Three rubber keys provide rapid access to all functions: activate the RFID reader and, if necessary, make selections from the available menu options.
When not in use, XPOCKET switches off automatically after a few seconds.

Latest-generation display
Messages are displayed on a back-lit LCD graphics display.  This technology means that the reader can be used under any lighting conditions, making clear information available immediately.

Bluetooth or USB interface for data transfer
Capturing transaction data and transferring it from XPOCKET to other equipment is really easy.  Every XPOCKET reader can be recognised automatically by PCs or PocketPCs equipped with Bluetooth or USB interfaces, as well as by the latest generation of Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. Using special software for the download of data, this means that all the information gathered can be imported in an encrypted and secure manner.

XPocket COM – the GSM / GPRS version
XPocket COM is an enhanced version of XPocket. XPocket COM features an embedded 4-Bands cellular modem and does not have the Bluetooth module. Depending on the kind of support by the SIM and carrier provider it can communicate with a public Internet server via GPRS network, or answer to GSM dialup-data-calls. XPocket COM has also USB interface but not the Bluetooth one. The eLink application is provided to receive data on the public server from the GPRS network.

Rechargeable, long-life batteries
The batteries used by XPOCKET are very easy to recharge. Simply connect the XPOCKET to a USB port or to the plug-in battery charger supplied with the device. The use of long-life batteries means that the XPOCKET remains charged for many months.

Memory capacity
The Flash Memory inside the XPOCKET can store about 16,000 transactions, thus ensuring that the data collected is kept safely until it can be transferred.

Multi-functional terminal

It has been designed for all applications where an easy interaction of the workforce with the company Information System is required, and, it is not the privilege of only those with a PC on their desk.

Easy and flexible

Web technology, applied to companies’ information systems, has allowed productivity improvements by making more information available to more people. This trend is growing increasingly faster in high tech companies; but what about the larger part of the workforce that does not work using PCs? How can they have access to the same services that are normally available to their “office” colleagues?

HR Totem is the answer to those questions. The elegant, yet robust design features a bright TFT 10,4” 640x480 display 65.000 colors touch screen housed in a IP64 splash-proof case that makes it suitable for industrial and/or commercial sites. HR Totem is powered by Windows XP Embedded and has a rich set of internal connections such as RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbit Ethernet, SD slot and USB connectors all supporting memory keys or cards as well as other devices (WiFi, GSM modem…).

It can be equipped with an internal dual RF 125Khz reader,  a single Legic reader or a dual 13,56Mhz read only. Also available the Fingerprint optional module to perform biometric identification of fingerprints. It is possible to connect external barcode and magnetic readers.

HR Workflow and other applications available

T&A, Canteen and HR workflow applications are already available for HR Totem. The HR Workflow application, for example, is a client interface to the HR server that allows employees without a PC, to request holidays, authorizations for travel expenses or perform system inquires regarding working balances, to name a few.

Other applications can be easily developed in standard languages, such as “.Net” or “html”.

HR Totem integrates SW support and drivers to use with all Automatic Identification technologies, in all types of application from Telnet to Web servers, to Windows remote desktop.

FUNCTIONS

X2 is equipped with a large, bright display that clearly indicates: time, transaction type if configured, direction and result of the transaction (the latter is also indicated by means of an audible signal), and all controls and settings available on the supervisor menu.

The terminal is available with different reader technologies; the radiofrequency reader is in-built and is available in the 125KHz EM4102, Mifare®, Legic® and HID® versions, while the barcode, magnetic stripe and biometric readers are fixed to the underside of the terminal by means of a bracket.

The X2 with Bio Capacitive reader

In addition to the main reader, it is also possible to connect a second external reader with the same technologies.

The keypad is made up of 6 membrane function keys on the sides of the display and 10 numeric keys. It can be used to enter a reason code, to digit a PIN and to perform the service procedures.

An external USB port enables the user to copy the recordings to a USB stick in cases, where no communication with a host is possible.

The internal battery ensures autonomous operation even in the event of a mains power failure. PoE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3.af is a standard feature and makes the system easier to install.

The X2 with magnetic reader

The communication facility consists of an Ethernet 10/100 PoE port with TCP/IP HTTP protocol for communicating with the server and FTP protocol for transferring transactions and configuration parameters.

An optional built-in module is available for GPRS-GSM communication.

The I/O section consists of 1 internal relay that can be used to unlock an access point or to activate sirens at programmable times. An optional external card is also available, equipped with 2 relays and 2 digital inputs, which maximises the security of an access point since it can be installed inside the protected area, thereby rendering the access commands inaccessible and leaving only the terminal itself exposed to tampering.

SAP Integration Software Interface

SAP Connector 2.0 is the certified interface for data exchange between the SAP Time Management module and the attendance data collection subsystems of Zucchetti Axess, which offers a vast range of multifunction terminals with an excellent price/performance ratio.

SAP Connector 2.0 enables Zucchetti Axess data collection terminals to be used with the SAP R/3 4.5 or ECC 6.0 Time Management module.

SAP Connector 2.0 incorporates all the functions of the SAP HR-PDC interface. Its distinguishing features include the application of time event validity checks executed independently by the terminals. This feature increases the reliability and general availability of the system, especially in multi-site systems.

SAP Connector 2.0 adopts ALE (Application Link Enabling) technology, using SAP JCo (Java Connector) libraries for information exchange. It consists of two components: the “connector”, which resides on the server and which exchanges data with SAP (master records, attendance/absence reasons, time events, etc), and the “validator”, which resides on the terminals and applies all SAP validity checks to data entered by users (white lists, time events, attendance/absence reasons, expenditures, etc).

SAP Connector 2.0 makes it easy to activate connections to SAP systems and, at the same time, even to different systems. This option is useful when migrating from an existing system to SAP, for example, or for feeding different applications such as a production control application.

SAP Connector 2.0 is designed and developed entirely by Zucchetti Axess. This means that the company is able to build customised interfaces if system requirements differ from the standard functions provided by HR-PDC.
