Mission
For many years Zucchetti Axess has been a leading developer of products and systems for workplace personnel identification and access control.
Workplaces are common to all businesses, from the private sector to the public sector, including critical areas such as: ports, airports, processing plants, banks and law enforcement facilities, etc..
Employees, contract workers, suppliers and visitors, regardless of industry or sector, must be identified before being authorized to access work areas. Among others, they must also be identified and/or authorized for their length of stay in the workplace or their presence during work processes.
Value to businesses results from improvements in security to automated work-time control and the availability of feedback to users. The greater the improvements, the greater the value generated.
In order to generate further value for users and Partners, Zucchetti Axess focuses its investments on enhancing integration with application areas complementary to those of its core business, such as: Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, Attendance Records and Human Resources Management.
As a result of this integration, the above applications have also become part of Zucchetti Axess’s core business.
The main application areas in which Zucchetti Axess operates are: access control, attendance monitoring, labor management and production control.
Company
Zucchetti Axess is present in 50 countries worldwide through it’s Blue Partners (Zucchetti Axess product integrators) and it’s Orange Partners (Zucchetti Axess engineering solutions). The company has approximately 200 partners worldwide.
In Italy, Zucchetti Axess has a direct supply, engineering and support network which caters to all clients; from the largest companies to those with specific requirements that can only be dealt by means of direct liaison. The company has 60 employees and four operational sites: Cerro Maggiore (Milan), Bologna, Rome and Boston (USA). Half of its workforce is involved in research and development.
Zucchetti Axess has sold 30,000 readers and terminals over the past 3 years. This makes it the top company in Italy and one of the leading companies worldwide in its sector. In 2006-2007, the company achieved sales volume growth of 39%.

Range
Our range includes products that can be used as components of solutions developed by Blue Partners or integrated in Zucchetti Axess solutions:
• Readers: 3 families of readers with 10 standard variants and reading technologies, giving a total of 30 readers.
• Terminals: 6 families of terminals with various reading and display technologies, operating systems, connectivity, applicability and protection levels, giving a total of 100 terminals.
• Software: A single web-based software suite that includes all of the necessary levels, from middleware for terminal configuration to data collection modules, access control and security checks. The modularity and scalability of the Server Appliance version, which can be rapidly integrated with the Enterprise version for larger companies, ensures that Zucchetti Axess software is the ideal choice for customers and partners.
• Orangelink Field Processors: when clients demand high performance and extensive multi-functionality, Orangelink Field Processors enable on-line functionality regardless of server availability. With this approach, the web server remains largely removed from on-line processes and field functionality is guaranteed, even when the server is not available.
• Third-party equipment integrated in Zucchetti Axess solutions.
